The Fidelity strategy saw a manager change in May 2021. After 16 years at Fidelity, Angel Agudo, who led the strategy since its inception in December 2012, decided to step down from portfolio management, according to Tsymbaluk
Taking over are Ashish Bhardwaj, who has been an assistant manager since June 2019, and Rosanna Burcheri, who is set to join in September 2021.
“The team will continue to be supported by the group’s dedicated US equities team of 28 analysts, based in London and Toronto, as well as four pan-regional analysts who also cover US stocks,” said Tsymbaluk.
The team is a mixture of experienced career and junior analysts, organised by sector, she noted.
The Loomis Sayles strategy “benefits from an experienced manager and the continuity of the team behind him,” said Tsymbaluk.
Lead manager Aziz Hamzaogullari has 27 years of investment experience and founded this US large-cap growth strategy at Evergreen in 2006.
“He has successfully managed the strategy for 14 years, first at Evergreen and then since May 2010 when he moved to Loomis Sayles,” said Tsymbaluk.
“The supporting team is strong and stable, consisting of seven sector analysts, three of whom have worked with the manager since 2006,” she added.
