“Neither product is particularly cheap – but sometimes it is worth paying a bit more for a product as it is the returns after charges have been taken out which are important. That said, it would be nice to see the costs fall for investors as the assets under management for each fund rises and to see the economies of scale passed on to the underlying investors,” said McDermott.
