HEAD-TO-HEAD: JP Morgan vs Schroders
FSA compares two China mixed asset products — the JP Morgan China Income Fund and the Schroders China Asset Income Fund.
The two featured funds have charges higher than the peer median. The JP Morgan fund has ongoing charges (OCF) of 2.01% compared to 1.91% for the Schroders fund.
The Asia-Pacific multi-asset sector’s average OCF is 1.62%, according to FE data.
Ng, however, said that the cost of either fund is not overly expensive, adding that it is difficult to compare these funds to the broader multi-asset sector given there are not many China-focused multi-asset funds available in the market.
