Fidelity’s Ning has 17 years of investment experience, with the majority of her career focused on Chinese equities.
She first joined the Fidelity in September 2013 and took the helm of the China Focus fund in November that year, according to Liang. She is supported by 12 dedicated China analysts and 11 regional analysts covering China.
Ning also personally invests in the fund, aligning her interest with shareholders’, Liang added.
UBS’ Shi has 23 years of investment experience, 14 of which have been dedicated to managing Chinese equities. He has managed the China opportunity fund since 2010 and is supported by 11 analysts, four of which are China specialists covering small- and mid-cap stocks as well as A-shares, while the others are regional analysts covering large-cap names.
Liang has confidence in both managers, given their investment experience. She also believes that both funds have well-resourced teams relative to their peers.
