Fidelity’s Hyun Ho Sohn has 15 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Fidelity, Sohn worked as an analyst at Morgan Stanley between 2005 and 2006 and Shinhan Investment between 2000 and 2005.
He joined Fidelity as a research analyst on the Asian team, where he covered industrials before assuming responsibility for technology stocks. He then managed the global technology pilot fund, where he built an impressive track record, according to FE. In March 2013, he took over responsibility for the Fidelity Global Technology Fund.
Turning to Janus, Brad Slingerlend is an equity research analyst and co-head of the team-managed Global Technology Fund. He joined Janus’ investment team in September 2000 as an equity research analyst on the technology research team. He was appointed technology team leader in 2003.

Conclusion
Fidelity’s Hyun Ho Sohn does not have a long track record with the fund (he began the manager role in October 2013), but he has been performing well throughout his tenure, Ng said.
“We rate the Fidelity analyst team highly, and consider the team an excellent resource for Sohn. He also is not afraid to deviate from the benchmark when he has high conviction with a stock, and thus we consider Fidelity as a better fund as investors pursue exposure in technology equities.
“For Janus, the fund has a stronger focus [than Fidelity] on companies with higher growth in terms of earnings, sales and cash flow, but the valuations are also higher. Therefore, the fund could be the more volatile of the two. But it should benefit because outlook for the tech sector as a whole remains positive.”
