Both managers are India equity veterans.
Singapore-based Kumar, who has around 22 years of investment experience, has been managing the Eastspring fund since he joined the firm in 2009, according to Ng. He is also the team leader of the India focus team and also manages the firm’s China-India strategy.
Hong Kong-based Sambhshivan has been managing the Invesco fund since he joined the firm in 2006. He is also the firm’s India equities investment director and has around 25 years of investment experience.
Ng is positive on both managers given their investment experience and does not see issues in investment strategy execution.
“They are both consistent with their style and how they employ their methodologies,” he said.
