HEAD-TO-HEAD: Comgest vs Robeco
FSA compares the Comgest Growth Emerging Markets Fund and the Robeco Emerging Stars Equities Fund.
The Comgest fund (USD Acc share class) has ongoing charges of 1.55%, while the Robeco fund (DL Eur share class available for Hong Kong public) charges 1.98%.
The median level of the global emerging market equity funds under Morningstar’s category is 1.87%.
Caquineau noted that for some other share classes of Robeco’s fund, it has below-average management fees plus a 15% performance fee based on the high watermark principle.
