Eastspring Investments gets new investment services head

Eastspring Investments, under Prudential’s asset management arm in Asia, has appointed Alan Artyun as head of investment services effective March 14.

Reporting to chief operating officer Phil Stockwell, Artyun will lead the delivery of the investment services platform in Singapore, Eastspring’s regional investment hub with teams managing equities, fixed income, multi-asset and private asset strategies.

He will be responsible for business management, front office support, performance and attribution, enterprise data, service provider management and procurement, as well as investment monitoring for Eastspring Investments (Singapore) Limited.

Artyun joined EIS from BT Investment Management in Australia, where he was employed for the past nine years, most recently as the head of investment operations. He previously worked at Asteron Life, Tactical Global Management as well as the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

“Alan has extensive experience in building high performing teams and managing efficient operating platforms that support both portfolio managers and clients. This experience will be important in enabling our ongoing business growth,” Guy Strapp, chief executive of Eastspring Investments said.
