Schroders makes internal promotions to strengthen Apac coverage

Schroders has made several moves across its Asia Pacific team in a bid to strengthen its client-facing capabilities.

Based in Hong Kong, Linda Lam will report to Andy Lee, head of investment services in north Asia.

Manoj Samtani has been named executive director and will look at client servicing and the team’s next-generation wealth capabilities.

Sandeep Das brings with him over 30 years of experience including most recently with Barclays Private Bank.

Mike Sleightholme will oversee the provision of customer support and technology and data solutions across Apac and EMEA.

Jessica Donohue’s appointment follows the retirement of Rick Lacaille, who announced his retirement earlier this month.

The move will see a mix of executives from UBS and Credit Suisse at the helm.

All the new appointments are seasoned professionals, located across Hong Kong and Singapore

The addition of seven seasoned professionals will allow the Swiss private bank to strengthen its presence in key growth segments within the region.

Karan Choksey and Rahul Dutta Chowdhury have joined the Swiss bank with immediate effect to cover the non-resident Indian clients.
