BNPP AM strengthens institutional sales team

Florence Wong joins from Macquarie Asset Management, where she was an Asia investment specialist.

BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has appointed Florence Wong (pictured) as head of institutional sales for Hong Kong and Macau, effective immediately.

She is a replacement for Ross Lu, who will be transitioning to a new role within the firm. Based in Hong Kong, Wong reports to Mike Nikou, the firm’s Asia Pacific CEO.

Wong was most recently with Macquarie Asset Management, where she was an Asia investment specialist. She has over two decades of experience in institutional sales, product management and development in the asset management and finance industry.

“With the firm’s fairly sizeable book in Hong Kong and Macau, Florence steps in to continue providing coverage for the existing Hong Kong and Macau-based institutional clients, as well as the prospects. Her appointment is part of BNPP AM’s growth ambition as we continue to build out our institutional capabilities in the region,” said Nikou.
