Nordea Asset Management has registered five sub-funds from its Nordea 2 UCITS fund range as restricted funds in Singapore.
The list comprises the Global Enhanced Equity, Global Responsible Enhanced Equity, Global Developed Responsible Enhanced Equity, Technology Enhanced Equity and US Enhanced Equity funds.
All of the sub-funds fall under Nordea AM’s BetaPlus strategy, which seeks to enhance returns beyond traditional passive investing. The strategy also integrates Nordea’s ESG expertise to meet fund-specific sustainability criteria and decarbonisation goals.
“We are excited to introduce these BetaPlus investment strategies to the Singapore market. Nordea has been managing Index Enhanced strategies for over 15 years and we believe they offer investors here an alternative to passive strategies,” said Ana Dhoraisingam, chief executive officer of Nordea Asset Management Singapore and head of Asia-Pacific ex-Japan distribution.
