Paragon Capital Management (PCM) has strengthened its team with the addition of Chong Jiun Ching (JC Chong) as managing director, senior advisor.

Chong has over 30 years of experience in banking and wealth management, and prior to joining PCM, he spent a decade at Bank Julius Baer & Co Ltd, advising ultra high net worth individuals and family offices on wealth preservation, investments, and succession planning.

PCM co-founder, chief executive officer & chief investment officer Paul Lee, said: “We are pleased to welcome JC to our team. His addition will address the ongoing demand for independent wealth management services, especially in the wealth preservation and legacy planning space.”

Chong started his career at UBS in 1993 and has had various roles at banks such as United Overseas Bank, National Australia Bank Asia, and Lloyds TSB Bank. After spending approximately ten years at Credit Suisse, where he was as a senior relationship manager catering to ultra high net worth individuals and family office clients in Singapore and Malaysia, he joined Bank Julius Baer in 2014.

On joining PCM, Chong said: “PCM has demonstrated a strong track record over the years and I firmly believe that I can leverage on PCM’s capabilities to deliver the best experience and investment returns for my clients.”
