Lawrence Hanson has been appointed head of sales Asia Pacific effective from 11 November 2024.
He will have the overall leadership and management responsibilities for Robeco’s sales efforts in the region, developing the strategy to accelerate Robeco’s ambitions and continue building the brand presence in the region, according to a statement by the Rotterdam-headquartered asset manager.
Hansen has more than 25 years of experience in asset management and the financial sector across the UK, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Previously he held senior positions at Fidelity International as managing director Australia and before that as head of Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Hansen started his career in asset management at Fleming/Save & Prosper and subsequently moved to UBS Asset Management where he held a number of roles, including covering the Middle East.
