HSBC Asset Management’s head of world selection funds Kate Morrissey (pictured) has exited the firm to “pursue external opportunities”.
She first joined the firm as part of its graduate programme in 2000. Morrissey was previously a rates portfolio manager in the firm’s global bond team, and ran fixed income services within discretionary wealth management.
A spokesperson for the firm confirmed that ex-global head of multi-asset research and senior portfolio manager Nicholas McLoughlin has been appointed head of managed solutions funds.
As part of the role, he has been named lead portfolio manager of HSBC AM’s flagship risk-profiled multi-asset solutions.
