Capital Group has strengthened its Asia Pacific fixed-income team with the appointment of Manusha Samaraweera and Haran Karunakaran as investment directors.
Samaraweera is based in Singapore and was most recently fixed income and ESG strategist at Pimco. Meanwhile, Karunakaran is based in Singapore but will relocate to Singapore shortly.
He has been with Capital Group for the past two years, joining from Pimco, where he was senior vice president and fixed income strategist.
