BNP Paribas Wealth Management has appointed Tariq Saleim as head of credit in Asia Pacific, effective 1 November.
Based in Hong Kong, he will report to Arnaud Tellier, CEO of Asia Pacific wealth management, and to Remi Lefevre-Moulenq, global head of wealth management credit.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Saleim was global head of lending products and credit structuring at Bank of Singapore. Before that, he worked at Barclays, BNP Paribas, UBS and Standard Chartered in Asia and the Middle East.
“Credit is an essential driver of our business in Asia and a key enabler of our 2025 Strategic Plan. I am confident that Tariq’s expertise and experience will enable us to keep offering market-leading lending solutions to support our clients’ needs and objectives,” said Tellier.
