UBS is planning to build out its wealth management team in India, according to a report from Bloomberg, citing unnamed sources.
The Swiss bank is looking to add at least seven relationship managers, taking its advisory headcount to 25, as well as two in portfolio management services, according to the report.
UBS did not immediately respond to a request for comment from FSA.
UBS had re-entered the Indian market following the acquisition of Credit Suisse earlier this year.
