Union Bancaire Privee has appointed Linda Lam as its head of equity advisory for north Asia.
Based in Hong Kong, Lam will report to Andy Lee, head of investment services in north Asia, the Swiss firm announced on 20 July.
Lam was previously an equity specialist at HSBC Global Private Banking Hong Kong and provided equity advisory for offshore wealth clients in greater China.
Prior to that, she held positions with the Invesco Asian equity team, JP Morgan Asset Management global equity team and the corporate banking team at Citibank.
Lam’s appointment comes shortly after a slew of new appointments made by the Swiss firm in Asia in hopes of deepening its penetration into the ultra-high-net-worth individuals segment.
