Henry Loh
Head of Asian credit fixed income, Asia, abrdn
Henry Loh is the head of Asian credit on the Asian fixed income team at abrdn, responsible for managing hard and local currency Asian credit strategies. In addition to this, Henry is part of abrdn’s ESG fixed income network and a key investment committee member for several abrdn fixed income sustainable funds. Henry joined the company in 2013, with experience undertaking fundamental research across various sectors in Asia spanning both investment grade and high yield.
Henry graduated with a BSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

The Asian Credit Sustainable Bond Strategy is for investors who want to invest in Asian USD bonds, which have proven attractive through volatile markets. It is also intended for investors who want to partake in the Asian credit market ESG disruption, as ESG performance has shown to deliver alpha. Furthermore, abrdn identifies and engages companies in ESG transition so early adopters can maximize potential returns by investing at an earlier stage, before companies achieve higher ESG ratings.The strategy covers four key Asian growth sectors: Mobility, Energy transition, Infrastructure and Financials. It also focuses on growth markets like India, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and South Korea.
