Ho will be based in Singapore and his appointment is effective today, the firm said.
He will work with the global financial advisory and wealth management and trust teams across Southeast Asia to develop the firm’s businesses.
From 2009-2010, Ho was a managing director of the Singapore government’s sovereign wealth fund Temasek. From 2010-2015 he served as CEO of investee company Bank Danamon Indonesia.
Prior to that, he worked at Citibank in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand in various senior roles.
Financial advisory group Rothschild has four divisions: global financial advisory, wealth management & trust, institutional asset management and merchant banking.
In October, Rothschild Wealth Management hired Audrey Zau to lead the North Asia business and grow family office clients.
