Rockpool Capital, the wealth management firm and multi-family office, has hired Nick Chan to oversee its multi-family office business in Asia, based in Hong Kong.

Chan has a 25-year career in wealth management having spent nine years at Goldman Sachs Wealth Management before occupying several leadership positions during a 14-year tenure with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management including as Asia co-head of sales and Singapore CEO.

He was most recently head of Asia sales at RBC Wealth Management.

“We’re thrilled that Nick is joining the Rockpool Capital family. He brings a great depth of experience to our operations at a pivotal moment for our firm and for the industry in Hong Kong. As an established industry veteran, Nick will help strengthen Rockpool’s independent platform and support the team in serving our expanding base of intergenerational clients through the multi-family office wealth management services we offer,” said Rockpool Capital’s co-founder and COO, Maurice Koo.

“Nick has been instrumental in building, leading, and managing teams serving ultra-high net worth clients and family offices across the Asia Pacific region over the course of his career. We are honoured to have him join us as the head of our multi-family office amid the ongoing expansion of our business across the region,” said Michael Tung, CEO of Rockpool Capital.

“I’m delighted to be joining the dynamic Rockpool team just as Hong Kong doubles down on its commitment to the important family office sector. Rockpool pursues a unique philosophy in a space which has enormous growth potential for the years ahead,” said Chan.
