The firm named Wong as head of family services, Asia, based in Singapore.
She joined from Union Bancaire Privée, where she was head of wealth management, leading a team advising clients regarding their family wealth transition needs and philanthropic aspirations.
In Wong’s new role, she reports to Vincent Magnenat, CEO of Asia.
She is responsible for developing the firm’s existing wealth planning and family services proposition, with functions including inter-generational wealth planning and legacy planning solutions, philanthropy advisory and family business governance.
The firm also said Seema Bhayat has taken up a new role as the local managing director in Tokyo. She will lead the expansion of the private banking business in Japan to address the increasing number of individuals seeking wealth management advice, the firm said.
Seema assumed the role last month. Prior to the appointment, she was the deputy head of private banking for Asia and head of wealth planning for Asia at Lombard Odier.
A spokeswoman for the firm said Wong have the same duties that Seema did as head of wealth planning for Asia.
