Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) has brought a global high yield strategy to market.
The LOIM Liquid Global High Yield strategy uses high-quality liquid cash bonds and credit derivatives to provide liquid, efficient exposure to high yield markets.
Managed by Anando Maitra (pictured), the fund aims to deliver higher Sharpe ratios and long-term outperformance over traditional high yield indices.
The management team also includes portfolio manager Jamie Salt, fixed income CIO Sandro Croce, and Jérôme Collet, head of systematic portfolio management.
“Investors seeking to benefit from these long-term returns have often had to contend with a lack of liquidity in shocks, high costs, drawdowns and relative underperformance,” said Maitra.
“The Liquid Global High Yield strategy allows investors to access those upsides while removing the pain of implementation, ultimately providing a more efficient way to gain high yield exposure.”
