Jupiter Asset Management has appointed Madeline Han as head of Asia.

Based in Singapore and reporting to head of international, Mathias Mueller, Han will be responsible for the continued expansion of Jupiter in the region and for leading the Asia team. Her appointment was effective February 9.

Prior to joining Jupiter in 2015, Han was with Franklin Templeton Investments, where she managed client relationships across southeast Asia. She also worked at the Monetary Authority of Singapore previously.

“Jupiter has a long-standing presence in Asia offering a diverse range of strategies across equities, fixed income and alternatives. I am excited to take on this new role and oversee the regional team as well as support the firm’s growth in this key region,” said Han.

“I am delighted to see Madeline promoted to head of Asia. Her experience as Jupiter’s head of southeast Asia, regional market expertise and close relationships with global private banks and strategic partners further strengthens our capability to serve our clients and grow our offerings in Asia,” said Mueller.

Meanwhile, Karen Cheng has been appointed head of sales for North Asia, effective February 9. Prior to joining Jupiter as sales director for north Asia in 2019, Cheng was head of Hong Kong intermediaries at T Rowe Price and worked in intermediary sales responsible for private bank distribution at JP Morgan Asset Management.

Finally, Zach Yeo has been promoted to head of sales for southeast Asia, also effective February 9. Yeo joined Jupiter as sales director for Singapore in 2016 from Citibank, where he was a senior investment consultant focusing on portfolio advisory.
