J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has named Stefania Vivarini as an ETF specialist for Australia to bolster JPMAM’s capabilities and distribution in the growing ETF market.

Based in Sydney, Vivarini (pictured) reports to Philippe El-Asmar, head of Apac ETF, digital & direct and locally to Mark Carlile, head of wholesale, Australia and New Zealand.

She will be responsible for promoting the full range of active ETF products, working with clients to deliver tailored investment strategies, according to a statement by the US asset manager.

Vivarini has 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on investment product distribution and client relationship management.

El-Asmar said: “Australia is one of the most sophisticated ETF markets in the region. Stefania’s role will be pivotal in expanding our growing range of active ETF offerings to Australian investors and enhancing client access to our innovative and cost-effective investment solutions.”

” Together with our recently launched Guide to ETFs Australia, Stefania’s appointment underscores our dedication to investing in top talent and providing quality thought leadership to support our advisers in their conversations with clients,” added Carlile.

Prior to this role, Vivarini was most recently a national key account manager at Vanguard Investments Australia, where she launched ETF based SMAs, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve sales targets and enhance client relationships.

Globally, JPMAM’s ETF platform includes 135 ETFs across various asset classes. In Australia, JPMAM has launched nine active ETF strategies (14 ETFs in total including hedged share classes) across global equites and bonds, according to the asset manager.
