JPM launches research app for Asia

The app provides institutional investors with personalised access to the firm’s insights on major asset classes, markets and investment themes.

Along with an app, the firm has also launched a website for institutional  investors in Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan.

“Clear, concise, factual and unbiased content is delivered through an interactive iPad application and an online web platform, simply and conveniently,” said Rachel Farrell, head of sovereign and institutional business for Asia Pacific ex-Japan.

“JPM AM is keen to help its sovereign and institutional investors make informed decisions when facing ever changing market conditions,” Farrell added.

Digital trends are catching on in Asia.

A recent study by M&G Investments showed that wealthy investors in the region are increasingly relying on digital media as a source for investment knowledge and ideas.

In response to clients asking for digital solutions, UBS Wealth Management recently launched an app that tracks a client’s portfolio, tests it against critical risk factors and sends a notification when the portfolio deviates from the client’s investment strategy.
