Impax Asset Management has appointed Manish Bishnoi as a portfolio manager in Hong Kong.
He will be joining Oscar Yang as a co-portfolio manager of the asset manager’s environmental and opportunities strategies in Asia from October, Impax announced on 20 June.
Bishnoi will be taking over from Kirsteen Morrison, the interim co-portfolio manager on both strategies, since her predecessor passed on unexpectedly in October 2022.
Bishnoi brings with him over a decade of experience in Asian equities, with his expertise lying in portfolio management, fundamental equity investing, thematic investing, ESG integration and stewardship.
He is joining Impax from Macquarie Asset Management, where he was a portfolio manager for the Asian Progress Fund. Prior to that, he was a senior investment analyst focusing on Asian thematic investments at the same firm.
