Fees
The First State fund’s retail ongoing charges figure (OCF) is 1.87%, slightly lower than the 1.89% annual fee payable on the Janus Henderson fund.
“The fees on both funds are a little high, although in line with the sector median – but that’s Hong Kong,” said Poole.
“On the other hand, investors probably have to pay a bit extra to gain access to the alpha opportunities in a niche market,” he added.
