Both funds are competitively-priced relative to peers. The HSBC fund’s ongoing-charge (OCF) is 0.18%, while Vanguard’s is 0.08%.
The median OCF for the UK large-cap blended equity peer group is 0.89%.
However, Bioy noted that there are other passive funds that follow the FTSE 100 Index have lower OCFs than the HSBC fund.
