The shortlist of candidate funds in each category was compiled by FE Analytics using its Crown Rating system, which rates funds using three separate tests: alpha, volatility and consistency. FE also ran fund performance over multiple time periods.
The shortlists were then given to independent panels of well-known professionals from Asia’s fund selector community in Hong Kong and in Singapore.
The judges’ selections will determine two winners in each category (Platinum and Gold). Final results will be in next week.
In both Hong Kong and Singapore, the awards have 15 categories. Below are the shortlisted fund candidates (with Citicodes) for the first five categories from both jurisdictions.
