About the event

Fund Selector Asia was delighted to return to Bangkok for a second time in 2023, to host another flagship “Investment Forum Thailand”, in-person on Thursday, 5th October.

As the country’s HNW and affluent populations explored avenues to diversify their portfolios, to tackle continued market volatility and an uncertain economic outlook, allocating to the right mix of assets was more important than ever.

In making choices across public and private markets, multiple sectors, and different risk and liquidity profiles, the goal was to secure reliable and consistent returns, to protect portfolios and prepare them for the future.

To help investors achieve that, the timely event explored the strategies, processes, mindsets and capabilities required to build and manage portfolios effectively.

Key reasons to join the event included:

  • Focused presentations from leading global investment managers
  • Insights from our panel on evolving approaches to asset allocation and portfolio strategy
  • Engaging and interactive conversations with your peers
  • Opportunities to network – to deepen relationships with existing contacts and develop new ones

10:30amPresentation: Asian equities, opportunities beyond China
Amid China’s property market woes, it is easy to forget that Asia offers some of the most exciting structural growth opportunities in the world. These range from domestic demand plays in underpenetrated markets such as India and Indonesia, to companies in Taiwan and Korea that are helping to drive technologies of the future like AI and EVs, as well as businesses in markets like Vietnam which are benefiting from concerted efforts to diversify manufacturing bases away from China. In this session, we will discuss the changing landscape across Asian equities and elaborate on three core themes we are excited about for the future.
