Pongtharin Sapayanon is Head of Fixed Income and Asset Allocation on the Asia Pacific fixed income desk based in Bangkok. Pongtharin joined the company in 2003 having previously been a financial analyst with Pacific Economic Consultants, USA. He holds a BSc from Carnegie Mellon University, USA and an MSc from Oregon Graduate Institute, USA.
Andy Cox, CFA, Investment specialist – Equity, Janus Henderson Investors
Andy Cox is an equity Investment Specialist at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2023. In this role, he is responsible for articulating Janus Henderson’s view on equity markets, the macroeconomic environment, and representing the firm’s suite of equity products.
Sam Konrad, Investment manager, Asian Equity, Income, Jupiter Asset Management
Sam is an Investment Manager in the Asian Equity Income team. He joined Jupiter in October 2022. Before joining Jupiter, Sam was at UBS for 17 years, joining as a graduate in 2005 in Equity Sales and later covering Japan for three years, Global & Europe for five years and Asian markets for nine years. Sam has a degree in Economics.
Martina Watcharawaratorn, Senior vice president and head of investment management strategy, Kasikorn Asset Management
Martina Watcharawaratorn is Senior Vice President and Head of Investment Management Strategy in Kasikorn Asset Management (KAsset). Prior to KAsset, she worked for BBL Asset Management, Treasury Department at Bangkok Bank, and Economic Department at Bank of Thailand. She holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Thammasat University. She is a CFA Charter Holder.

Andrew is a business journalist and editor for 25 years, he has far-reaching experience across the financial services industry. For the past 22 years, he has run online content, publications, events and bespoke projects across Asia Pacific & the Middle East for large publishing houses, family-run, entrepreneurial firms, and his own content consulting business.
