Ramone Mikgail Kok, CFA, CQF, FMVA,  Head of Investment Research & Advisory, Hong Leong Bank

Ramone heads the Investment Research & Advisory function within Hong Leong Bank’s Wealth Management division, where he leads multi-asset strategy, fund selection, and portfolio positioning. He also formulates the bank’s house views and translates them into actionable insights for client portfolios. Ramone is also a CFA charterholder and holds the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF).  

Shen Tan, Managing Director, Asia, Lazard Asset Management

Shen Tan is a Managing Director and the Head of Asia ex-Japan at Lazard Asset Management. He began working in the investments industry in 2000. Prior to joining Lazard in 2018, Shen was a Managing Director responsible for the Asia ex-Japan institutional business at Capital Group and, prior to that, he was a Partner and Global Head of Sales for Income Partners Asset Management. He has a Masters of Commerce and a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from the University of New South Wales.

Ng Chze How, Managing Director/CEO, RHB Group Asset Management

Outstanding achievements in Wealth & Asset Management, Banking and Life insurance industries in Malaysia. Vast experience in various senior leadership roles over the last two decades. Skilled in Agency Sales & Strategies, Partnership Distribution, Portfolio Management, Financial Services, Capital Markets, Risk Management, and Mutual Funds. Strong proven track record in propelling businesses with exponential growth.

JC Sambor, Head of Emerging Markets Debt, TT International

Jean-Charles “(JC)” Sambor is TT’s Head of Emerging Markets Debt. Before joining TT, JC worked at BNP Paribas Asset Management for almost eight years as Head of EM Fixed Income and was Lead Portfolio Manager of the EM Debt strategies. Prior to this, JC was CEO of IIF (Institute of International Finance) Asia Pacific Ltd and Regional Director. He also worked at TCW and a large hedge fund. JC started his career as an Emerging Markets economist with Société Générale. He is an alumnus of UCLA and received an MA in International Financial Economics from UPMF. JC is also an alumnus of École Normale Supérieure and received an MA in Philosophy from Sorbonne University.

Rupert Walker

Rupert Walker, Editor, Fund Selector Asia

Rupert will be chairing the event and is an award-winning financial journalist and editor with a background as a fund manager and investment banker in London and Singapore. He was educated at Oxford and London universities, and is a CFA charter holder.
