Andrew is a business journalist and editor for 25 years, he has far-reaching experience across the financial industry. Vincent Au, chief investment officer, ALPS Capital Management
Vincent Au is the chief investment officer at ALPS Capital Management, a multi-family office. Since joining in 2018, he has crafted tailored investment strategies for Ultra High Net Worth and High Net Worth clients. With his keen observation and market insights, Vincent actively manages ALPS’s multi-asset portfolios and global equity mandates.
Darpan Harar, co-head of developed markets specialist credit, Ninety One
Darpan is a portfolio manager for the Multi Asset Credit Funds at Ninety One. Prior to joining the firm, he spent four years at Barclays Capital where he was a member of the Credit Strategy team covering high yield bonds, leveraged loans and credit derivatives. Darpan is also a CFA® Charterholder.
Dong Chen, chief Asia strategist and head of Asia research, Pictet Wealth Management
Dr. Dong Chen is Chief Asia Strategist and Head of Asia Research at Pictet Wealth Management, based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for formulating investment strategies for Asia based on Pictet Wealth Management’s global house view. He will also supervise the Asia Research teams, including the Macroeconomics, Equity and Credit research.
JC Sambor, head of emerging markets debt, TT International
Jean-Charles “(JC)” Sambor is TT’s Head of Emerging Markets Debt. Before joining TT, JC worked at BNP Paribas Asset Management for almost eight years as Head of EM Fixed Income and was Lead Portfolio Manager of the EM Debt strategies. Prior to this, JC was CEO of IIF (Institute of International Finance) Asia Pacific Ltd and Regional Director. He also worked at TCW and a large hedge fund. JC started his career as an Emerging Markets economist with Société Générale. He is an alumnus of UCLA and received an MA in International Financial Economics from UPMF. JC is also an alumnus of École Normale Supérieure and received an MA in Philosophy from Sorbonne University.
