Meyer, who was previously head of product development and strategic marketing at BNP Paribas Investment Partners, will develop product strategies for Eastspring in Asia, Europe and the US.
Barbour will fill a newly created role, providing client support to the global emerging markets, emerging Asia, Latam and EMEA equity strategies.
Prior to his appointment, Barbour was director, investment specialist for international equities (Asia Pacific and MENA) at Deutsche Asset Management.
Eastspring, the asset management arm of Prudential Corporation Asia, has offices in 11 markets. Total assets under management as of 30 June were $115 billion, up 22% on the previous six months due to net inflows and positive market movements, according to the firm.
