Eastspring Investments has appointed Salman Haider as chief distribution officer, effective 18 March.
Based in Singapore, he will report to Bill Maldonado, Eastspring’s chief executive officer and interim chief investment officer.
Haider (pictured) He boasts 25 years of experience having most recently served as CEO for global wealth management at Habib Bank Zurich in Dubai. He has also had stints at Barclays, JP Morgan and Citigroup.
“Salman will lead Eastspring’s global distribution strategy, collaborate with distribution leaders across our markets and expand on our retail, institutional and life partnerships,” said Maldonado.
“We see this as an important strategic priority, with Salman bringing the expertise to deliver on our growth goals and ultimately, our promise to our clients – which is to protect and grow their wealth”.
