Barings has hired Aaron Thirukumar and Sabrina Kwek as director for institutional sales and senior director for wealth distribution respectively.
Thirukumar took up the reins on July 31 and is based in Sydney. He reports to Michael Gaffney, head of distribution for Australia and New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Kwek joined on August 1 and is based in Singapore. She reports to Lydia Wu, head of distribution for greater China and southeast Asia.
Thirukumar joins from Dimensional Fund Advisors in Sydney, where he was regional director and vice president for the institutional business.
Kwek was most recently at Allianz Global Investors, where she was director in the private banking business. She has also worked at Mirae Asset Global Investments, Robeco and Credit Suisse.
