Bank of Singapore’s south Asia global market head leaves

Vikram Malhotra has left Bank of Singapore to pursue personal interests.

Bank of Singapore’s global market head for south Asia, Vikram Malhotra, has left the bank to pursue other interests, CEO Jason Moo said in a written response to FSA.

He went on to say that the bank will announce the appointment of the new global market head for south Asia “as and when it is appropriate”.

The south Asia team will be overseen by Sonjoy Phukan, Bank of Singapore’s global chief operating officer, in the meantime, added Moo.

Malhotra previously worked at Barclays, UBS, ABN AMRO and Standard Chartered.
