Andrew Lee, director and head of investments at CIMB Private Banking, is retiring at the end of May after 13 years at the bank.
His duties will be taken over by Patrick Chang, managing director and regional head of the CIO office CIMB, Lee told FSA.
“I will be doubling down on some hobbies (photography, carpentry) and maybe picking up sailing. It’s time to smell the roses,” Lee said.
A graduate of Cambridge University, Lee started his career at BZW Securities in 1991 and then had spells at Goldman Sachs, HSBC Securities and Merrill Lynch, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He next spent almost two years as head of equity research at Maybank Investment Bank.
Lee joined CIMB Private Banking in September 2012 as senior vice president and equity specialist before promotion to director and head of investments in January 2014.
