ABN AMRO gets new PB head in Asia

Hans Hanegraaf has been appointed country executive at ABN AMRO Singapore and head of private banking Asia & the Middle East, replacing Hugues Delcourt, who recently resigned after three years in the position.
Delcourt will leave ABN AMRO by the end of the month, “to take on an important leadership position elsewhere in the financial sector”, the bank said.

“During his tenure with ABN AMRO, Hugues has successfully positioned ABN AMRO Singapore and expanded our private banking activities in Asia and the Middle East,” said Jeroen Rijpkema, CEO of ABN AMRO Private Banking International.

Hanegraaf was formerly senior managing director of business banking at ABN AMRO.

Rijpkema added: “Hans has extensive experience in various commercial and management positions in both international and domestic markets, providing him with the seniority and broad banking experience needed to lead ABN AMRO in this important region.”

ABN AMRO in Asia and the Middle East is a provider of private banking services with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai.
