Muzinich & Co has hired Sashi Nambiar for a newly created role of as head of financial intermediaries and wealth, Asia, as the specialist credit firm continues its expansion in the region.
Nambiar (pictured) will lead the firm’s engagement with private banks and family offices across Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong, South and Southeast Asia.
He will be based in Singapore and report to Muzinich & Co’s Andrew Tan, chief executive officer, Asia-Pacific.
Tan said: “Sashi joins Muzinich at an exciting time for the firm. His appointment reflects the growing interest in public and private credit strategies from family offices and private clients in Asia.”

Nambiar joins from PGIM, where he was most recently head of Southeast Asia. Prior to that, he was managing director, global wealth, at Wellington Management.
He has 18 years of industry experience, with leadership roles covering private banks, family offices and sub-advisory markets across Asia.
