On 21 November, Fund Selector Asia is hosting an exclusive breakfast briefing for fund selectors and distributors in Hong Kong. At the events we will discuss the outlook for global equities and fixed income in the year ahead with 2 panels featuring asset managers and distributors.

About the event

Date: Thursday, 21 November 2024
Time: 8:30am – 10:35am
Venue: The American Club

Volatility has characterised equity and bond markets in 2024, as investors have faced uncertainty about the timing of interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve and the prospects for the US economy. Elections across the world, as well as rising geopolitical tensions, have also encouraged a cautious asset allocation approach during a period when cash has offered an attractive haven.

However, as we enter the final quarter of the year US interest rate cuts seem imminent and a soft landing for the US economy appears more likely, which should support the global economy and stock and bond markets worldwide.

The US presidential and congressional elections will be decided in early November, and their impact will provide the setting for Fund Selector Asia’s breakfast events in Singapore on 19 November and Hong Kong on 21 November.

We look forward to you joining us to hear and discuss the views of our panels of expert Asia fund selectors and asset managers.
