This partnership marks Endowus’ first offering of a standalone private credit strategy focused on European direct lending.

Endowus, an Asia wealth management and investment platform, today announced a partnership with CVC to offer its first standalone private credit strategy focused on European direct lending.
The strategy is now available to accredited and professional Investors in Singapore and Hong Kong, giving them greater access to European private credit and diversification beyond US-focused strategies.
Previously available only as part of an Endowus portfolio, this solution is now available as a standalone strategy. It is structured to be more accessible than a traditional closed-end private credit vehicle, while retaining the illiquidity features typical of the asset class, according to Endowus.
Hugh Chung, chief investment officer of Endowus said: “While the European lending space has provided significant opportunity in the market through the years, direct lending strategies available for private wealth clients have largely focused on the US, hence securing access for our clients across geographies is part of a broader effort to democratise access to alternatives, alongside our continued focus on making retirement savings work harder for all investors.”
CVC is one of Europe’s largest collateralised loan obligation (CLO) managers, with over 20 years of experience in managing European direct lending deals and manages €52bn ($58.3bn) in assets across its credit platform, a statement by Endowus said
Its position as one of Europe’s largest alternatives managers, with a dozen local offices and established relationships across private equity sponsors and banks, should give Endowus clients access to a market with different economic cycles, borrowers and currency dynamics than the US-heavy private credit exposure most portfolios already carry, according to Endowus.
Samuel Rhee, chairman & group chief investment officer of Endowus said, “Endowus Private Wealth serves high net worth clients with conflict-free and holistic investment advice, coupled with having access to the right building blocks to tailor portfolios for our clients. CVC is one of the longest-standing European alternatives players, and we are excited to be partnering with them to give our clients differentiated and attractive risk-adjusted returns driven by the unique local dynamics and diverse geographies across Europe.”
