Bank of Singapore has hired Ms Aline Pacheco as market group head as the firm continues to expand its team’s footprint in the region.

Based in Singapore, Ms Pacheco will report to Ms Vi Sun Yang, head of private banking, Asean, effective 12 October 2026.

The hire comes follows the recent arrival of Yang as head of private banking, Asean in June earlier this year, and more recently the appointment of Cecil Yeo, market group head for Asean, who is set to join the bank in December.

Ms Pacheco was previously group head, Southeast Asia at Julius Baer Singapore. Before that, she held leadership positions at UBS, including market team head Philippines.

Yang said, “Aline is a highly respected private banker with extensive experience across ASEAN, especially in the Philippines.”

“She has a strong track record of serving ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth clients, and a proven ability to build and grow successful teams.”
