DBS expands partnership with Avaloq
DBS and Avaloq expand their partnership to develop wealth management technology and adviser capabilities in Asia.
Andreas Rosenthal will act as interim CEO of Prudential Singapore.

Prudential plc has announced that Chan San San, chief executive officer of Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, is taking up a newly created role as chief partnership officer at Eastspring Investments, Prudential’s asset management business, with effect from 28 September 2026. Based in Singapore, Chan will report to Rajeev Mittal, chief executive officer of Eastspring, and will join Eastspring’s executive management committee.
In this role, Chan (pictured) will lead efforts to strengthen collaboration between Prudential’s life insurance businesses and Eastspring, supporting the development of investment, wealth and retirement solutions for customers across Asia, according to a statement by the firm.
Mittal said: “The partnership between Prudential and Eastspring is a powerful differentiator as demand for wealth, retirement and investment solutions continues to grow across Asia. San San’s customer insights, regional experience and strong track record across financial services make her exceptionally well placed to deepen this partnership and unlock greater value through our combined strengths.”
Following Chan’s move, Andreas Rosenthal will act as interim CEO of Prudential Singapore with effect from 28 September 2026, while the process to appoint a permanent CEO is under way.
Rosenthal previously served as chief financial officer of Prudential Singapore from 2018 to 2025, where he led key finance, actuarial, performance management, transformation, procurement, distribution compensation and analytics functions. He most recently held the role of chief enterprise value delivery officer at Prudential plc, working with businesses and functions to strengthen strategic execution and enterprise value delivery across the organisation.
Dennis Tan, regional chief executive officer, Prudential plc, said: “Andreas brings deep knowledge of Prudential Singapore and a strong track record in finance, actuarial and strategic execution across Asian insurance markets. His appointment provides stability for the business during this transition, ensuring continuity for our customers, employees, financial representatives and partners.”
With more than 25 years of insurance industry experience, Rosenthal has held senior finance leadership roles across Asia, including in Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines.
The asset manager will return to its heritage name later this year in November.
It marks the largest closed-ended commingled private equity fund raised by the asset manager.
