Wee Yee-Yong joins Barclays from Morgan Stanley.
Bank of Singapore has made a hire from DBS Private Bank as it seeks to grow its South Asia business.

Bank of Singapore has hired Ms Diya Amarnani as a relationship manager as it seeks to continue to expand its South Asia business.
She joins from DBS Private Bank, where she advised high-net-worth clients on their wealth management and investment needs. Prior to that, she was a director with Taurus Wealth Advisors.
Based in Singapore, Amarnani will report to Bikram Sen, market head, global South Asia and international.
The bank highlighted its South Asia business as a key growth segment, which it said continues to grow after a series of hires in Singapore.
The latest hire comes alongside recent joiners Ankit Swaika and Mr Yatish Aron, both of whom will start as team heads in the coming months, the bank said.
Over the past year Bank of Singapore has also poached Priyanka Maheshwari from HSBC Private Bank, Dinesh Chaudhary from Julius Baer and Ritika Patel from UBS.
Dorian Carrell, head of multi-asset income at Schroders, bases his balanced strategy on three pillars.
Janus Henederson Investors has hired Helen Jewell and Shilpee Raina.
High headline yields are still widely available, but tight credit spreads, elevated equity valuations and shifting correlations are changing where the strongest risk-adjusted income can be found. Flexibility may now matter as much as yield, says Grégoire Durel, Senior Investment Specialist, US, Amundi.
