Alquity Group has made two new appointments to expand its global distribution team with the hire of a new Asia sales director and global product specialist.
Samuel Edgar has been named a global product specialist at Alquity. He joins the firm from Baillie Gifford, where he was a client manager responsible for client assets across Europe, North America and Australia.
In Asia, Benjamin Lin has been named as Asia sales director, tasked with managing the firm’s existing clients in the region and expanding its investor base.
Lim has 20 years of experience in distribution in the asset management industry, including roles at P/E Investments, Aviva Investors and Aberdeen Asset Management.
