Muzinich hires client relations VP

Sarah Ng joins Muzinich in Singapore from Wellington Management.

Muzinich & Co., a global public and private corporate credit specialist, has appointed Sarah Ng as vice president – marketing & client relations, effective immediately.

Based in Singapore, Ng (pictured) will focus on developing the firm’s relationships with financial intermediaries and wealth managers across Southeast Asia.

In this newly created position, she will report to Sashi Nambiar, head of financial intermediaries and Wealth, Asia. She brings seven years of experience in asset and wealth management, having most recently served as associate business development manager at Wellington Management in Singapore.

Nambiar said:”We are delighted to welcome Sarah to Muzinich as we continue to build out our coverage across Southeast Asia. Her hands-on experience and familiarity with the regional wealth landscape make her an excellent addition to the team as demand for credit solutions among Asian investors continues to grow.”

The appointment comes as Muzinich & Co sees strong investor interest across private markets for its European parallel lending and Asia Pacific private debt strategies and public markets for its enhanced-yield short-duration and Asia opportunities strategies in the Southeast Asia wealth channel, according to a statement by the firm.

Andrew Tan, chief executive officer, Apac, Muzinich & Co., said: “Sarah’s appointment reflects our strategic commitment to strengthening our presence in the Asia Pacific region and ensuring we are well-positioned to serve the evolving needs of financial intermediaries and wealth managers in the region. As Asian investors increasingly look to diversify through public and private credit, having the right people on the ground is essential.”
