Robeco expands retail offering in Singapore

Mahesh Ramakrishnan and Shikhy Chandhok join Bank of Singapore in Dubai this month.

Bank of Singapore has appointed two experienced relationship managers to its Dubai office. Mahesh Ramakrishnan joins the bank on 3 September 2026 and will report to Salman Bajwa, market head for the Middle East and Global South Asia. Shikhy Chandhok joins the bank on 1 September 2026 and will report to Chetan Mehra, market head for the Middle East and Global South Asia.
These hires sharpen Bank of Singapore’s ability to serve the increasingly sophisticated needs of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients across the Middle East, South Asia & International markets, according to a statement by the bank.

Ramakrishnan (pictured left) joins from CA Indosuez Wealth Management, where he advised HNW and UNHW clients across the Gulf Cooperation Council region and India. He has more than 20 years’ experience in wealth management, succession and estate planning, and investment advisory. Prior to CA Indosuez, he worked at Deutsche Bank and Union Bancaire Privée in Dubai.
Chandhok (main picture) joins from Citibank UAE, where she advised clients on investment, structured product and financing solutions. She brings more than 18 years of experience across wealth management, treasury, and retail banking.
These hires reflect the bank’s commitment to the Middle East, which was recently strengthened with the appointment of veteran private banker Lim Leong Guan as head of Private Banking, Middle East, Global South Asia & International and chief executive of Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Branch as of 1 July 2026, said the statement.
The fund is eligible for Japan’s NISA programme and launched through Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities.
