Bank of Singapore has bolstered its Dubai franchise with the appointment of two private bankers to cover high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients across the Middle East and South Asia. The new relationship managers are Yasser Soliman and Amit Bhasin, according to a statement by the bank.
Soliman joined Bank of Singapore on 12 October 2026 and reports to Hani Alnabulsi, market head for the Middle East and Global South Asia. Bhasin is relocating from the Singapore office to Dubai on 16 November 2026, and will report to Chetan Mehra, market head for the Middle East and Global South Asia.
Soliman has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, spanning private banking, wealth management and business transformation. Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, he was head of private acquisition at Mashreq Bank Egypt.
Bhasin has been with Bank of Singapore since 2022 and has spent over two decades covering HNW and UHNW families across India and Singapore. In Dubai, he will support the continued expansion of client relationships across the region.
These appointments follow several others in Dubai. Lim Leong Guan was named head of private banking, Middle East, Global South Asia & International and chief executive of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) branch in July 2026.
